Report Card Time

It's that time of year again. I just finished holding 25 parent teacher conferences and attending Devin's in the middle of all that.

We have much to be proud of. Devin's grades were AWESOME and Eryn's grades were STELLAR!!! Devin had all A's and one B+, and Eryn had all A's and two A-'s. (Not sure about Ariel yet. She hasn't let us in on the details)

We're also happy to announce that for the first time ever Devin also received straight H's on his citizenship! He has a male teacher this year and I think the teacher is a little more layed back than his previous female teachers.

("Mr. O" -Devin's 4th grade teacher)

Funny story: When Devin saw his teacher dressed up for Halloween he came to the faculty room to tell me about it. He said. "Mom, you should see Mr. O. he's got his hair slicked back, he's wearing sunglasses and a white T-shirt. He's even wearing those "Penny-pinchers" for shoes...hee, hee, hee!

Eryn's working extremely hard on her school work and volunteering at the Boys and Girls club to earn service hours for her National Honor Society requirements. She keeps some late night hours trying to meet the demands of her schedule this year, but it looks like it's paying off. She's taking: AP World History, Honors Lang. Arts, Honors Chemistry, Honors Interm. Algebra, Spanish3, Health & Symphony Band -Wind Ens. She's trying to earn a car for her 16th birthday by keeping her grades high enough to stay on the National Honor Society and lay the foundation for a scholarship to college.
