Food Done Right on Cinco De Mayo!

We're so excited!!! Ariel and Eryn have moved in with us until the end of the school year. Their mom recently moved from Sugarhouse to Suncrest on the top of South Mountain/Draper.
They have 5 weeks of school left to finish and our house is a bit closer to their high school than their mom's house.

Last night for FHE we had a big family planning session to re-establish some House
Rules and create a rotation for cooking, doing dishes and sharing the Wii.

Tonight was Ariel's night to cook. She made Stir-fried beef and bell peppers with rice and it was delicious! Do you have any idea how wonderful it is to have teenage girls who are willing to pitch in and help? Not only that, but make meals that taste delicious too?!?!
It was also Eryn's night to unload the dishwasher but Devin woke up early this morning to unload it for her as a surprise for her when she got home from school (even though it was his turn to load the dishwasher after dinner tonight).

Maybe we're still in the honey-
moon phase, but I think this rotation thingy is going to work out splendidly! (Signed, Very Happy Mom of 3 Awesome Kids!) Happy Cinco De Mayo everybody...YAHOO... mom didn't have to make dinner tonight! Tomorrow -10th wedding anniversay for Roger and I. :>)

Um... can your kids come live at my house? I could really use someone to cook and do my dishes. What great kids you have!

And Happy Anniversary to you both!
