Witch-a-Palooza

Our choir director for "We Also Sing" told us about a show she was doing at Gardner Village. I decided to get tickets for the Saturday matinee for Roger and I. We had a great time! The dinner was delicious and the entertainment was great! Not too long into the "dinner music" Merrilee (our choir director) spotted Roger and I at a table in the farthest back corner of the room. During a little break between numbers she came down from the stage and over to our table to chat with us. What a kind thing for her to do. Then she asked Roger if he would help her with a number coming up in the show. He didn't hesitate to say yes! She had him lead a group of four guys on stage to lead the crowd in "Y M C A!" What a hoot. Check out is sexy white hard hat in the following slide show.

I'm so proud of my husband! He was one of about 10 guys in the whole crowd of 125 or so women and he didn't act one bit embarassed to get up on stage and ham it up.
We must have missed the dress up memo because half of the crowd there was dressed up as witches. I put a few pics of them in the slide show for kicks and giggles.

What a fun show with lots of audience participation, conga lines, swing dancing, singing and cheering.

We walked around Gardner Village to enjoy the Halloween spirt after the show.
