Last Wed. night we were all anxious to kick off our 4-day U.E.A. weekend. So we put on our sweatshirts and hoodies and headed out back to get the holiday started with an evening of back yard S'mores. Roger has a small metal table we often use for dutch oven cooking and occasional mini fires on the patio. We had originally planned to have a family camp-out in the back yard to kick off our holiday weekend but this was the Wednesday after the surprise snowfall, and it was much too cold in the night time to camp out. After Roger got a rip-roarin' fire going, we enjoyed a toasty-warm, family visit around the "campfire." The kids were only a little disappointed. When we broke out the fixins for S'mores the drooping smiles perked up. There was an incredible moon that night, which added to the ambiance, and Eryn got some cool pics of it!
